Astro Restoration Project

The Astro Restoration Project (ARP), a 501c3 non-profit organization, is an all volunteer effort, and relies on grants, sponsorships, and donations to help cover  the costs associated with the restoration and education and outreach effort.  This includes consumable supplies, such as Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI) tape and Aeroglaze Paint; transportation of hardware and support equipment; manufacturing of missing hardware components; and development of educational and outreach materials.

The Astro Restoration Project is a large effort and we welcome sponsorship support from businesses and corporations.  Your support will be reflected on our website, social media, and outreach materials, as well as at the ARP exhibit at the US Space and Rocket Center.

NOTE:  As of April 2024, we are now registered as a non-profit with Fidelity Charitable!  If you have a Giving Account with Fidelity Charitable,  you can now grant money to the Astro Restoration Project.

Volunteer

We are looking for individuals to help in all aspects of the Astro Restoration Project, including hardware restoration, documentation and grant development, and education and outreach.
